All aboard - the METRONET Forrestfield-Airport Link is now open. The new train line and High Wycombe Train Station commenced welcoming the trains and passengers on Sunday 9 October 2022!

The Airport Line, together with the new bus routes are giving our community more public transport options.

The $1.86 billion High Wycombe Train Station and new Airport line was jointly funded by the Federal and State governments and allows passengers to enjoy a 22-minute journey to the CBD for the low price of a 2-zone fare. Trains operate every 12 minutes in peak, every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during the night.

Passengers are able to commute to the new train station via a variety of different ways. Parking bays for both vehicles and bicycles have been installed, along with a bus interchange at the station. 26 new buses and altered routes for buses have been provided by Transperth. For journey planning visit the Transperth website at https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/ or use the Transperth app, find out more here https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/app .
